The Facility Maintenance Technician will support all area PLS store locations by initiating, performing, and overseeing preventative maintenance and repair procedures, as well as small improvement projects. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, perform, and oversee maintenance projects for all area PLS store locations.
• Perform repairs such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting assignments.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed and in a timely manner.
• Develop scopes of work for small improvements/services and seek out qualified contractors to bid the work.
• Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts, and order parts as needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
• Previous experience with basic electrical and carpentry repairs, simple plumbing, and painting.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, a good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift, 40 hours a week.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Travel within PLS business market area of Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, and Cincinnati OH, with occasional travel to Indianapolis, IN, and Louisville, KY.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. without frequent assistance.
• Must be able to climb up and down ladders and stand or stoop for long periods of time.

Pay

Ohio Pay Band: $25 USD - $28 USD per hour.
