Multi-Sport Coach
About the role
TGA is committed to nurturing young athletes by providing engaging sports programs directly in their schools and communities. Our goal is to teach kids the fundamentals of sports while encouraging character development, teamwork, and proper sportsmanship. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a GMulti-Sport Coach. This is an individual who is comfortable coaching a variety of different sports. This role involves teaching basics and fundamentals of various sports to children ages 5–14, emphasizing not just skill development but also the joy of playing sports. Our coaches are crucial in fostering a love for golf through fun, interactive lessons that incorporate education and safety.
Responsibilities
- Teach the fundamentals of multiple sports to children ages 5–14
- Emphasize skill development, character, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Create fun, interactive lessons that foster a love for golf and other sports
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants
- Maintain open communication with children and parents
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Availability during after-school hours (2:30 PM and later)
- Reliable transportation
- Excitement for teaching kids and sharing the game of golf
- Ability to connect with kids and create a fun, safe environment
- High energy, flexible, punctual, and creative
- Comfortable communicating with children and parents
- Willingness to commit to at least one full season
- Pass a clean background check

Schedule
Coaches can work part-time, with opportunities ranging from 1 day to 7 days a week, offering 2–5 hours of work per day during the school year, and potentially more during the summer months.
