Multi-Sport Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes is a premier sports-based enrichment program in the country, currently seeking to expand its team in Connecticut. Coaches will teach basic fundamentals of 10 different sports to children aged 18 months to 6 years old, following the program's curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early and be prepared in advance to teach the class (including commuting time)
• Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children on a daily basis
• Teach and conduct classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner
• Maintain up-to-date class rosters on a weekly basis
• Submit accurate pay stubs to management for review
• Understand and fulfill all responsibilities while children are under your supervision
• Show passion for sports/fitness and have experience working with pre-school age children
• Have a background in fitness and coaching experience

Requirements

• First Aid Certification
• Coaching Experience

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool age children (such as preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitutes, coaches, etc.)
• Passion for sports/fitness
• Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.)

• Outgoing and engaging personality
• Ability to organize and structure classes in a fun manner
