About the role

Winston Taylor is seeking a mid-level associate with at least two years of substantive asset management experience and extensive regulatory and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on investment management, regulatory and compliance matters related to the formation, structuring, and ongoing management of private investment funds (e.g., private equity and/or hedge funds) and their related investment advisers.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of substantive asset management experience.
• Extensive regulatory and compliance knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework governing private investment funds.
• Familiarity with, and a desire to become a subject matter expert on, the Investment Advisers Act and other related U.S. securities laws.
• Preference for placement in the New York or Chicago office.
• Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location.
