Multi-Line Producer

About the role

Carroll Insurance Agency is seeking a Multi Line Producer - Sales professional to join our team in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market segments for commercial insurance sales and develop criteria for prospecting.
• Work with sales center personnel to obtain leads within the targeted market.
• Make prospecting calls to achieve sales goals outlined by the Sales Manager.
• Become active in trade associations of targeted markets and promote Carroll Insurance Agency.
• Obtain and complete applications, forwarding all necessary information to market the account with insurance carriers.
• Provide risk management advice to prospects and clients.
• Work with Account Manager or Marketing Specialist to negotiate pricing, coverage, commissions, and prepare proposals.
• Coordinate with Account Manager or Marketing Specialist to ensure business is written appropriately.
• Make financial arrangements with clients to ensure premium collection.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and assess changing needs.
• Deliver policies to customers within two weeks of receipt from service personnel.
• Cross-sell accounts for other lines, including personal lines, bonds, and financial services.
• Work with Account Manager and Accounting Manager to resolve questions or collection issues.
• Collaborate with Claims Specialist to ensure prompt and timely settlement of losses.
• Promote Carroll Insurance Agency and the insurance industry within the community.
• Pursue personal and professional development.

Requirements

• College degree desired; professional designation preferred.
• Self-motivated and organized with a well-groomed appearance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance coverage and application processes.
• Proven ability to close sales.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Holds Texas Property and Casualty License and Life, Accident, Health & HMO.
• Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
