Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor - Level 3

About the role

The Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor - Level 3 is responsible for planning daily activities, sequencing, and assigning work to support business goals and targets across multiple COE Assembly Work Areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 20 employees with a focus on rate assembly operations.
• Motivate improvement, drive corrective actions, identify risk-mitigation actions, and solve complex problems across programs such as F-35, F-16, and F-22.
• Embrace Full Spectrum Leadership to develop, support, and empower teams, encouraging ownership throughout the organization.
• Cultivate program performance on quality, cost, and schedule metrics.
• Capture and analyze business metrics to drive performance (Quality, Schedule, and Cost).
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution of assembly work.

Requirements

• Experience with tools and drilling, fastener installation and systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Managing business metrics to drive performance (Quality, Schedule, and Cost).
• Working knowledge of crew planning, line balancing, and project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, and Power BI).

Qualifications

• Experience with tools and processes involving large assembly fixtures, drilling, fastening including complex assemblies and systems.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Manufacturing/productions methodologies relating to structural and mechanical assemblies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Solumina, SFM, and/or SAP systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and application.

• Education from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
