Multifunctional Manufacturing Planner Supervisor

The selected candidate will serve as the Multi-Function Planner Supervisor leading a unit team consisting of hourly represented hourly employees within the Aerostructures Material Logistics organization. This candidate will oversee and manage a team of planners responsible for coordinating and optimizing production, supply chain, and logistics activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of planning processes. The supervisor will ensure that all planning activities align with organizational goals, meet customer requirements, and adhere to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Responsibilities
- Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management, and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions, including but not limited to Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing, and Shipping.
- Oversees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost.
- Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Ensures planning activities align with organizational goals, meet customer requirements, and adhere to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Requirements
- Experience using SAP operating systems.
- Forecasting (raw materials) exposure.
- Solid customer interface skills.
- Previous experience with shop floor production control supervision.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $81,500.00 - $151,300.00. The salary range is a general guideline and considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, market (work location), and business considerations when extending an offer.
