THE WORK

Position will support manufacturing assembly operations on the CH-53K program within Assembly & Flight Operations (AFO) and include spares revenue plans, MRP Metrics and material performance. Candidate will lead a unit team consisting of hourly Represented Hourly team within the Material Logistics organization. Successful Candidate will perform a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties involving diverse material management functions including Material Planning, Inventory Control, and interact with Supply Chain Representatives (internal/external).

Duties

  • Shift based Assembly material delivery.
  • Material presentation to the factory.
  • Material expediting to the floor.
  • LEAN initiatives.
  • Inventory reduction.
  • FOD Control.

Qualifications

  • Develop an expert level of continuous improvement skills, as well as an understanding of key process inputs and outputs that support the departments operating plan.

Desired Skills

  • Solid customer interface skills required.
  • Possess ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities and emergency situations that could impact flow of parts to
  • Must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, well organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, team building and problem solving skills.
  • Solid customer interface skills required.
  • Previous experience with shop floor production control supervision.
  • Handles high pressure Situations well.
  • Action oriented.
  • Experience with a represented workforce.
