THE WORK

Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping. Oversees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Who You Are

The selected candidate will serve as the Multi-Function Planner Supervisor leading a unit team consisting of hourly Represented Hourly team within the Aerostructures Material Logistics organization. This candidate will oversee and manage a team of planners responsible for coordinating and optimizing production, supply chain, and logistics activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of planning processes. The supervisor will ensure that all planning activities align with organizational goals, meet customer requirements, and adhere to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
