About the role
This position performs a variety of activities in information systems design, development, and analysis encompassing programming, computer application analysis, software development, systems integration, and related disciplines. Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team supporting JSF operations by assuring the integrity of data stored within the system through maintaining internal databases and applications. The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact in customer discussions during flight and evaluation activities while maintaining system functionality. This role is in support of Tyndall AFB based in Panama City, FL, supporting a US Air Force Combat Coded squadron.
Responsibilities
- Interacting daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
- System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring
- Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2 and engineers
- Laptop re-image, troubleshooting, account maintenance
- Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance
- Training ALIS Administrators or Mission Planning Environment Administrator and users on the ALIS system as needed
Basic Qualifications
- Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years and ability to acquire a Top Secret clearance
- Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
- IT experience of any combination in system/database/network/mission planning administration
- Knowledge of any of the following: Windows; SQL; Linux; Cisco products
- This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit; selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week (including weekends) as dictated by mission requirements
- Must be able to adhere to the REAL ID Act requirements
Desired Skills
- Experience troubleshooting applications
- JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server familiarity
- Account maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment
- Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
- Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator
- Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data
- Importing/Exporting large data volumes
- Managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including the JSF ALIS hardware and software
- COMSEC experience
- Experience working for or supporting the US military/Foreign Military
- US DoD Top Secret Clearance
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $94,400.00 – $175,200.00. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, market (work location), and business considerations when extending an offer.
