KPA Foothills, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking an experienced Multi-Duty Receptionist to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals. The ideal candidate must be both professional and friendly and enjoy working with patients and their families. This is a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Answers phone calls in a professional manner and assists callers’ needs appropriately.
  • Greets patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully.
  • Checks in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in medical records/database, performs all registration functions, and collects copays and balances due.
  • Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties or other needs as appropriate.
  • Schedules appointments, handles referrals, and completes pre-certifications.
  • Files charts and coordinates lab work as requested.
  • Sorts and delivers mail, medical records, and other correspondence.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Demonstrates dependable attendance and punctuality; notifies supervisor at least two weeks in advance for time off (excluding emergencies).
  • Cooperates and assists coworkers as needed, contributing to team success.
  • Attends required meetings.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality internally and externally.
  • Adheres to the corporate compliance plan and policies.
  • Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to performance evaluations and implementation of improvement measures.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization.
  • Ability to build trust through active listening and collaboration while demonstrating humility and emotional intelligence.
  • Team-first mindset with a desire to help others and motivation to pursue excellence.
  • One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
