Multicraft
The Multicraft must have knowledge and hands-on experience in rod busting, carpentry, and concrete finishing in a heavy industrial civil construction environment. You will pivot between different civil construction phases to ensure project continuity, safety, and structural quality. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in an industrial facility or on construction jobsite setting.
Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a multicraft in a heavy industrial civil construction environment
- Possess strong basic knowledge and experience in rod busting, pouring, leveling, forming, troweling, troweling machine for finishing, and concrete.
- Able to use math/complete calculations
- Ability to make decisions
- Detail-oriented; must be able to remember, examine, and observe details
- Able to communicate effectively with management/supervision
- Reading and writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy
Physical Qualifications
- Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.
- Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs
- Hand/eye coordination
- Able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work
- May operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, and pneumatic) of all types
- Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis

Exposure to
- Adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
Work Environment
The job will primarily be on or around construction/turnaround sites such as in petrochemical operational units and include possible hazardous environments such as confined spaces and working at heights. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, irritants and smoke may occur. Special Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary to control some hazardous environments. Additional forms of PPE may be required depending on the particular project.
