MuleSoft Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. In this role, you will own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Develop and maintain APIs using Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime
• Implement API-led connectivity practices and ensure compliance with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT)
• Deploy and manage CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployments
• Optimize integration assets for reliability, security, and reuse
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of more junior engineers
• Ensure production-ready integration solutions through rigorous testing and monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 6+ years of integration experience with a strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime
• Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design
• Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment
• Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager
• Familiarity with CI/CD for MuleSoft
• Familiarity with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience integrating with major SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow)

Qualifications

• Strong engineering discipline and clear communication style
• A track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials
• Exposure to multi-cloud deployment of Mule runtimes
• Familiarity with FinOps and integration cost management
• Experience implementing zero-trust API security models
• Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform
