MuleSoft Integration Engineer

About the role

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks highly technical resources to serve as Data Integration, API, and ETL developers responsible for creating real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces and processing between internal and external systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Solution design and implementation
• Supporting go-live and post-implementation activities

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or MuleSoft or Boomi
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, and API development
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools such as Git
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Skills

• Strong technical experience in cloud and micro-services architecture
• Hands-on experience building integration patterns; processes; managing, deploying and supporting API's
• Strong understanding and knowledge of data formats JSON, XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width)
• Experience with troubleshooting & debugging
• Experience with AWS cloud platform
