MTSS Educational Technician III

About the role

The Yarmouth Elementary School, serving students in grades 2–5, is seeking a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Educational Technician for the 2026–27 school year. Qualified candidates must hold a current Ed Tech III certification or be eligible to obtain one. This position is part of our Instructional Support program and involves close collaboration with our Lead Literacy and Math teachers to deliver targeted academic interventions that support student growth and achievement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Literacy and Math teachers to implement and monitor academic interventions.
• Provide individualized support to students who require additional academic assistance.
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure consistent support for students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities related to MTSS and educational technology.

Requirements

• A current Ed Tech III certification or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience working with elementary school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support and educational technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in an educational setting.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The base pay for an Educational Technician III in the 2026-27 school year is $26.49 and will be adjusted commensurate with experience, up to $31.50.
