MST-PSYCH THERAPIST (Multisystemic Therapy-Psychiatric)

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide in-home family counseling, crisis intervention, and support to a caseload of up to 5 families.
• Conduct MST assessments and implement evidence-based clinical counseling methods.
• Design and deliver cognitive-behavioral interventions for youth and families.
• Collaborate with schools, probation, and community programs to support treatment goals.
• Advocate for families by attending court, hospital, and community meetings.
• Communicate treatment progress to stakeholders.
• Participate in weekly group and individual supervision, and consultations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Master’s degree required (MSW, MFT, MHC, or related field preferred).
• Prior experience in family therapy or in-home counseling with youth and families.
• Flexible schedule, with evening and occasional weekend availability.
• Strong organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines with quality documentation.
• Knowledge of the juvenile justice system and/or ACS preventive programs preferred.

Background Checks

• Must pass State Central Register, driver’s license, and fingerprint clearances.

Bilingual Skills

• Bilingual skills a plus.
