Overview Celanese is seeking a MRP Specialist, Shipping/Receiving to join the team at the Washington Works site in Washington, West Virginia. Responsibilities Analyze planned orders for stock requirements to obtain optimum warehouse stock levels through knowledge of material consumption, supplier stocked material, lead times and criticality of material. Coordinate the repair and/or purchase of items classified as stores repairable and capital spares with plant personnel, suppliers and purchasing. Responsible for conducting the monthly Stock Control Meeting with Plant Management for the review of new stock requests, changes and deletions ensuring that the new descriptions are adequate and the completion of all approved requests and to present and review plant relevant data, including obsolescence review, inventory value, unresolved issues, etc. Identify and execute projects related to process improvement, implementation or inventory optimization. Ensure the accuracy of material data through interfacing with plant personnel, purchasing and suppliers thus reducing ordering discrepancies and delays. Responsible for updating descriptions related to stores materials for the sites assigned. Identify and interact with Plant to eliminate obsolete items. Manage, maintain and setup new Purchase Information Records/Sources list pricing and validity. Provide help desk support to users for Evolve System. Participate actively in global MRO projects. maintain and update the MRO metrics for the sites assigned. Qualifications Strong SAP skills - Materials Management, P2P, Work Orders, etc. Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills in dealing with internal partners and customers (I.E. Sourcing, GBS, Operations) Strong organizational skills / analytical skills Ability to adapt, manage and resolve crisis and emergency situations Willingness to work in a global environment Demonstrate ability to manage multiple assignments at a time and prioritize deliverables accordingly. 5 years plant operations experience or 2 years with P2P/MRP experience Bachelor's degree preferred SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) experience desired.
