Shipping/Receiving Specialist

About the role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join their Industrial Automation business in Urbana, OH. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials to maintain inventory accuracy and quality standards.
• Pick, pack, and ship materials to support production and customer orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts to ensure precision.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address material-related issues and streamline operations.

Requirements

• Some experience in shipping, receiving, or a pick/pack environment.
• Basic computer skills to manage inventory records and order systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
