MRI Technologists (PRN)

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN MRI Technologist for Memorial Hospital in Shiloh, IL. This is an advanced modality technologist position with rotating shifts, working as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and at other sites as required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R).
• IEMA licensure (Illinois only, excluding MRI).
• Certification in one of the following: R.T.(R), CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• No prior experience required, but experience in MR, CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X-Ray Tech), Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, or MRI Radiographer is preferred.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred.
• Intravenous Therapy certification preferred.
