About the Role

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence in a team-focused environment with dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view, and other equipment adjustments to produce high-quality images.
  • Guide patients through the exam process by kindly explaining steps and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information (PHI).
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, if applicable.
  • BLS certification.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
