This role involves providing safe, high-quality imaging services in a clinical environment, requiring independent judgment, technical proficiency, and patient care skills. Responsibilities include: performing diagnostic exams, setting up equipment, positioning patients, obtaining clinical histories, ensuring proper patient identification, administering contrast media, and reviewing images for quality.Responding to emergency situations, maintaining patient comfort and privacy, and supporting other technologists across modalities.Ensuring equipment functionality, adhering to infection control, and maintaining safety standards.Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, addressing questions, and documenting accurately.Participating in quality control, training, and supporting departmental operations, including patient transport and supply management.Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, and taking call as needed. Qualifications include: Radiologic Technology certification, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR credentials, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI. Must demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, and teamwork skills, with a solid understanding of anatomy, pathology, MRI protocols, and safety.
