MRI Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview This is a PRN MRI Technologist position responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, and other radiology techniques on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and safely.Prepare patients and equipment prior to procedures.Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and on-call tasks. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher in a related field.Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).Preferred experience in MRI, CT, or other advanced imaging modalities—2+ years preferred.Necessary licenses/certifications include IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, and others.Additional certifications such as CPR and IV Therapy are advantageous. Key Requirements Ability to perform imaging procedures independently and in various settings.Strong attention to patient safety and quality standards.
