About the Role
The PRN MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as MRI on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment purposes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures
- Perform MRI studies independently or in on-call situations
- Ensure quality control and patient safety
- Maintain high standards in a high-tech hospital setting
- Support diagnostic and treatment processes
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Licenses such as IEMA or RTR, CT, MR, etc.
Skills and Experience
- No prior experience required
- Preferred: less than 2 years of experience
- Preferred: CPR certification
- Preferred: IV therapy certification
