This role involves providing safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services, primarily MRI, by performing technical procedures independently and efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining clinical histories, ensuring proper identification, administering contrast safely, and reviewing images for clinical acceptability. Technologists must operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a safe environment adhering to infection control standards. Effective communication is essential to explain procedures, address patient concerns, and collaborate with medical staff. Qualifications include a certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, and BLS certification. Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI, is required. Skills include excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, multitasking, and a strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols. Additional duties involve supporting team efforts, maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
