About the role
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging focused on MRI procedures. Prepare the MRI environment, operate equipment safely, process images, and maintain supplies and equipment according to manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate image quality and ensure patient safety
- Provide age-specific patient education to facilitate cooperation and reduce anxiety
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and safety protocols, including equipment checks and patient identification
- Communicate effectively with the team and document procedures properly
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with policies
- Demonstrate shift flexibility as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- MRI-specific credentials from recognized boards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of MRI procedures, safety practices, and patient care
Qualifications
Preferred: 1+ year of MRI experience and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
