MRI Technologist - Per Diem - Day

About the role

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging focused on MRI procedures. Prepare the MRI environment, operate equipment safely, process images, and maintain supplies and equipment according to manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate image quality and ensure patient safety
• Provide age-specific patient education to facilitate cooperation and reduce anxiety
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and safety protocols, including equipment checks and patient identification
• Communicate effectively with the team and document procedures properly
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with policies
• Demonstrate shift flexibility as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• MRI-specific credentials from recognized boards
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, safety practices, and patient care

Qualifications

Preferred: 1+ year of MRI experience and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
