About the Role
This position involves performing high-quality MRI imaging in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the MRI room and operate imaging equipment safely
- Process images and maintain supplies
- Adhere to sterile and safety protocols
- Evaluate image quality and educate patients across age groups
- Manage contrast agents
- Provide responsive customer service and verify patient identification
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Monitor radiation exposure and perform equipment safety checks
- Respond effectively to contrast reactions and emergencies
- Perform computer system data entry
- Collaborate with the team and comply with safety and infection control policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Radiologic Technologist Certification or ARRT-MRI Certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification
- Knowledge of MRI procedures, radiation safety, infection control, and patient handling
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of MRI experience
- Expertise in cross-sectional anatomy
