MRI Technologist - Per Diem - Day

About the Role

This position involves performing high-quality MRI imaging in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the MRI room and operate imaging equipment safely
• Process images and maintain supplies
• Adhere to sterile and safety protocols
• Evaluate image quality and educate patients across age groups
• Manage contrast agents
• Provide responsive customer service and verify patient identification
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Monitor radiation exposure and perform equipment safety checks
• Respond effectively to contrast reactions and emergencies
• Perform computer system data entry
• Collaborate with the team and comply with safety and infection control policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Radiologic Technologist Certification or ARRT-MRI Certification
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, radiation safety, infection control, and patient handling
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI experience
• Expertise in cross-sectional anatomy
