About the role
Provide high-quality MRI imaging services, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to safety standards and ethical practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the MRI room and operate equipment
- Process images and maintain supplies
- Perform quality assurance checks
- Position patients and develop films
- Evaluate image quality and understand contrast agents
- Deliver excellent customer service: inform patients, address concerns, and maintain confidentiality
- Ensure safety by minimizing radiation exposure, conducting equipment checks, verifying patient identification, and responding to adverse reactions
- Maintain a clean and organized radiology environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to safety policies and protocols
- Accurately input patient information into the computer system and manage patient flow during procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or ARRT MRI certification
- Basic Life Support certification

Preferred experience
- At least one year of MRI work
- Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy
