MRI Technologist - Part Time

MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, analyzing data, and ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, prepare patients, and ensure confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles.
• Administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with MRI safety and interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and participate in MRI safety investigations.
• Perform MRI scans, evaluate image quality, prepare patients, administer medications, educate colleagues, and adhere to safety standards in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology training program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and patient care.
