About the Role
Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced 3T, mobile, and upright scanners in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic images for patients of all ages.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and MRI-specific protocols.
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to their needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional care.
- Perform equipment maintenance and quality control tasks.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registered with ARRT (R) and ARMRIT (or obtain within 1 year).
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- Current BLS certification.
- 0-2 years modality-specific experience, with preferred X-ray experience.
- Excellent communication, computer literacy, and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
Physical & Technical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Perform repetitive motions, stand, walk, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Good vision, hearing, and manual dexterity are essential.
