About the Role

Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced 3T, mobile, and upright scanners in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic images for patients of all ages.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and MRI-specific protocols.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to their needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional care.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and quality control tasks.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Registered with ARRT (R) and ARMRIT (or obtain within 1 year).
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • 0-2 years modality-specific experience, with preferred X-ray experience.
  • Excellent communication, computer literacy, and ability to work in high-pressure situations.

Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Perform repetitive motions, stand, walk, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Good vision, hearing, and manual dexterity are essential.
