About the Role

An MRI Technologist II performs routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts MRI exams, selects appropriate technical settings, and administers contrast agents.
• Supports invasive procedures and maintains safety protocols.
• Participates in quality improvement, patient education, and departmental workflows.
• Ensures equipment functionality, manages supplies, documents procedures, and reports issues.
• Transports and prepares patients, verifies orders, and communicates effectively to promote patient comfort.
• Maintains compliance with safety, regulatory, and ethical standards, including MR safety and organizational policies.
• Documents patient care activities and processes images for interpretation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or accredited radiologic/MRI certificate.
• 3-4 years of MRI experience.
• Certifications such as ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) are mandatory.
• BLS certification.

Skills

• Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, patient positioning, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively under stress.
• Strong communication skills.
