About the role

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist operates imaging equipment and software, primarily MRI equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completed required clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• ARRT registry OR registry eligible (achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule

Full-Time, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - three 12-hour shifts per week.

$10,000 sign-on bonus.
