MRI Technologist

Role: Operates MRI scanner to produce diagnostic images for medical evaluation. Responsibilities: Prepares and positions patients, selects technical parameters, performs pre-screening and education, enters data, administers contrast media, ensures high-quality image submission, maintains equipment, and keeps the department organized. Qualifications: Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program; no prior experience required. Skills & Requirements: Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving patients; keen vision and hearing; ability to operate imaging equipment; knowledge of safety protocols; and adherence to federal and state regulations. Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification. This PRN role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring image quality, patient care, and equipment maintenance in a healthcare setting.
