Role: Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values. Responsibilities Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patients on procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope; monitors patient condition and responds to changes.Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, implements safety standards, and performs quality control.Positions patients, conducts imaging procedures, analyzes results, and addresses image quality issues; reports scan results.Utilizes critical thinking and decisive judgment to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Registered as a Technologist (RT) and MRI-eligible or certified within 12 months by ARRT or ARMRIT.Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
