About the role
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate MRI scanners for diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Select appropriate technical parameters to produce high-quality images.
- Perform patient pre-screening, education, and data entry.
- Administer contrast media or medications within scope of practice.
- Ensure timely submission of images and maintain equipment functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe department environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.
- Certification through ARRT-MR or ARMRIT (preferred but not required).
- No prior experience necessary.
Physical and Technical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, and patient handling.
- Frequent use of vision, hearing, and speech for communication and safety.
- Occasional lifting and repositioning of patients and equipment.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification.
