About the role
This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures (setting up, scanning and filming)
- Communicate with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons
- Perform quality control and reporting tasks
- Maintain day-to-day schedules
- Assist radiologist
- Handle medication within scope of license
- Start IV's
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care
- Take call
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a radiographic program approved by the JCERT, the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or the American College of Radiology
- Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year experience in all areas of diagnostic x-ray
- Hospital experience
- 2 years Sub-specialty MRI
Pay Range
$46.60 - $77.09
