MRI Technologist

About the role

Provide safe, high-quality MRI imaging services in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of MRI procedures, prepare equipment, position patients, and obtain diagnostic images following established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort, including contrast administration and emergency response.
  • Maintain MRI equipment, document procedures accurately, and transmit images promptly.
  • Assist with patient care and support departmental staff.
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards.
  • Perform clerical tasks, restock supplies, and ensure a clean MRI suite.
  • Take call as needed and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year clinical MRI experience.
  • ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle stress, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Knowledge of MRI techniques, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.
