About the role
Perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure high-quality imaging, and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes patient care, safety, technical proficiency, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ARRT or equivalent certification
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures
- Perform and review MRI scans
- Adhere to safety guidelines and MRI protocols
- Document procedures accurately
- Assist in training staff and students
Requirements
- ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or cross-trained Radiologic Technologist with MRI competency
- BLS certification
- IV competency within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of MRI experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and image evaluation
- Proficiency in MRI equipment operation and contrast protocols
- Emergency response preparedness
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Commitment to MRI safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to see and read computer screens and documents
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Capability to manipulate MRI equipment and accessories
- Ability to lift and transfer patients
- Stand for extended periods
Schedule
Rotating 12-hour shifts.
