Pay & Benefits

  • Compensation: $40.08 to $64.13 hourly wage based on experience and education
  • Retention Bonus: $30,000 for eligible new hires
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500
  • Temporary Housing: 90 days provided
  • Shift Differentials:
    • $2.00/hr for weekends
    • $2.50/hr for evenings
    • $6.00/hr for nights

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders, using independent judgment and established methodologies
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and treatments
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and foster teamwork to ensure efficient resource use and quality patient outcomes
  • Produce high-quality images and prepare/present them with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation
  • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements, troubleshoot issues, and notify appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors, adhering to safety policies
  • Uphold ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, including maintaining confidentiality
  • Ensure efficient department workflow and monitor/maintain adequate inventory of supplies
  • Perform functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • Provide excellent service by consistently demonstrating core and leader behaviors

Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
  • State licensure by the applicable regulatory agency (if applicable)
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required within 18 months of hire (if applicable)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Effective communication skills, human relations skills, and ability to analyze data and solve problems
  • For registry and travel positions: minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the area of specialty

  • Additional related education and/or experience
