About the Role
Perform MRI procedures independently, assess patient needs based on age and condition, and assist radiologists with radiographic tasks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze patient physical condition and ensure patient comfort
- Prepare the MRI room and supplies
- Explain procedures to patients
- Mark images accurately
- Support patient transfer
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school
- ARRT certification (with CEU compliance) or ARMRIT accepted
- BLS certification preferred
- Ideally 1 year of experience in MRI imaging
Skills
- Knowledge of growth and development principles
- Technical proficiency in MRI imaging
- Patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
