Role Overview
Performs MRI procedures independently, assessing patient needs based on age and condition, and assisting radiologists as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI scans, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort
- Analyze patient physical condition to tailor procedures
- Assist radiologists with certain radiographic tasks
- Properly mark and label images
- Explain procedures to patients and support their transfer to/from examination tables
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and the room is prepared
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification with CEU compliance; ARMRIT accepted with ARRT
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Preferred: 1 year of experience
Schedule
Full-time availability, including midshift hours.
