Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission and ACR standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Show strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relate well to clinical personnel and medical staff, and interact well with the public.
  • Have a working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.
  • Treat everyone as a guest by making a good first impression, anticipating needs, and displaying service recovery skills.
  • Practice professionalism and excellence by looking professional, being accountable for actions, and delivering excellence in work.
  • Participate in decision-making and process-improvement activities, communicate effectively, focus on the problem/issue, not the person, and foster teamwork.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Diploma/Certification from a certified school of primary imaging modality required.
  • One to more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist required, with acute care experience preferred.
  • Six months of experience in two or more modalities (CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab) required, with acute care experience preferred.
  • Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license required, or obtainable within 12 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Qualifications
