MRAD Finance Discretionary NRE Business Manager (M3) *HYBRID*

The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) team seeks a Finance Manager (M3) to join the MRAD Product Area as a Discretionary NRE Lead. The flagship MRAD product is the Sentinel system, built in partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA). The role collaborates with Program Office leadership, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IPT Leads to provide financial management, insight, and solutions that drive program needs. Responsibilities span cost control, EVMS compliance, financial forecasting, and overall financial execution. The position demands deadline-driven multitasking, top-level program planning and control guidance, and the ability to summarize and present financial information to all management levels while executing hands-on with the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and maintenance of Earned Value Management
• Provide monthly variance and data analysis
• Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
• Establish and maintain program logs (MR, UB, BCRs, etc.)
• Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
• Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes
• Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with minimum 5 years relevant experience; OR advanced degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Experience with SAP or similar cost accounting system
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
• U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements)

Preferred qualifications

• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with program controls, program scheduling, cash management, and financial planning and reporting
• Experience working in a government contracting environment with knowledge of contracts governed by both FAR and DFARS
• Proposal development experience
• Experience with Earned Value Management

Pay

Salary range: $95,500 – $181,700 USD (good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels; actual offer considers role, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills).

Schedule
