1 Resource Group is currently seeking a skilled Motor Winder to join a reputable manufacturing company.
About the role
The Motor Winder will be responsible for rewinding, repairing, and assembling electromagnetic components in industrial motors and generators. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform coil winding, rewinding, and assembling of stator and rotor components.
- Inspect, test, and repair motor windings using specialized tools and equipment.
- Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for repairs and builds.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Motor Winder or in a similar role.
- Experience with winding machines and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with safety practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
