Motor Vehicle Shift Supervisor
Position Overview
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meeting all operational objectives and financial goals, and adhering to company policies and procedures. This role includes performing the duties of a Customer Service Representative and assisting the Assistant Store Manager in various store operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build strong customer relationships
- Establish a positive customer service culture within the store
- Support the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives
- Develop and motivate store team members to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative, including transaction processing, cash drawer maintenance, and cash handling procedures
- Coach Customer Service Representatives on proper transaction conduct and compliance
- Review and approve checks within established limits
- Support store marketing efforts within the community
- Resolve customer complaints
- Aid the Store Manager in managing schedules, cash, and store audits
- Review and understand current Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment for both customers and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant
- Ability to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
- Strong desire to support corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- High energy, collaborative management experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet customer needs
