Motor Vehicle Dispatcher

About the role

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, is seeking a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher in Kitsap County, Western Puget Sound.

Responsibilities

• Assign vehicles and drivers for passenger and freight transportation.
• Issue vehicle keys, trip logs, and driver credentials.
• Record vehicle departures, destinations, cargo, and expected return times.
• Maintain records of mileage, fuel usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Communicate with drivers and customers regarding transportation requests and delivery status.
• Auxiliary duties include assisting with establishing delivery or service routes, performing vehicle loading and unloading, and issuing equipment to drivers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in dispatching, transportation, fleet operations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
