Mother Baby Unit - Health Unit Coordinator - (RPT)

Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a skilled Health Unit Coordinator to provide indirect patient care in the Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum setting.

About the role

The incumbent meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff, and medical staff; demonstrates basic computer knowledge; prepares and compiles records; and initiates direction from physician and nursing staff. The Health Unit Coordinator regularly participates in performance improvement activities, maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet communication needs of patients, families, departmental staff, and medical staff
• Demonstrate basic computer knowledge
• Prepare and compile records
• Initiate direction from physician and nursing staff
• Participate in performance improvement activities
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS), current (must have within 6 months of being hired)
• Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Idaho, preferred
• Previous C.N.A. experience preferred

Schedule

Regular Part Time, Nights
2-12hr shifts per week
