About the role

The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within a healthcare unit, ensuring patient care standards are met. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the healthcare unit
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures
• Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Handle patient complaints and concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field
• Current certification in CPR
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
