Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and schedule patients for appointments
- Answer, screen, and route telephone calls
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution
- Create various reports and documents
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care
- Perform unit safety checks
- Assist with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate
- May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules
- May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
