MOS Implementation & Process Improvement Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement smart operating systems that drive daily performance—think visual management, tier meetings, and escalation routines.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects that deliver tangible results on key metrics like OEE, scrap, and throughput.
  • Coach and empower front-line leaders and CI champions to own and sustain improvement work.
  • Deploy best practices across sites—virtually and on-site—to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Champion data integrity and connect your work directly to business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in manufacturing operations (food or automotive strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to implement and sustain CI and MOS systems.
  • Dynamic facilitation and coaching skills—comfortable leading teams both in-person and remote.
  • Experience with multi-site deployments and strong grasp of performance data management.
  • Bonus Points: Consulting or advisory experience, Certifications (Lean Six Sigma, CPIM, CSCP), Experience in PE-backed manufacturing environments, Familiarity with digital CI tools or production-tracking systems, Bilingual in English and Spanish.
