Responsibilities
- Cook up, organize, and scrutinize due diligence papers for possible acquisitions.
- Keep tabs on important dates and rules for all acquisitions.
- Study all parts of the acquisition journey, from start to finish, like reconciling what you get, what you owe, and spotting if anything might be delayed or risky.
- Help Senior Leaders, Analysts, and Tech Team with planning, making, and managing reports about servicing transfers, their systems, and how things flow.
- Talk to people inside and outside our company about what servicing transfers mean, what they'll affect, and how we can fix problems.
- Make sure all the data about loans gets into our servicing system correctly without causing any trouble later.
- Find ways to make the acquisition process better by looking at the data and changing how things are done.
- Work with different teams to solve lingering problems during the acquisition process with important partners both inside and outside our company.
- Help with one-time tasks as needed.
- At least 3 years of work experience in similar roles (like project work, data handling, report creation, paper collection).
- Good at working quickly and finishing tasks on time.
- Can think clearly, figure out problems, make good choices, and talk and write well.
- Very careful about small details.
- Knows how to use Microsoft Excel (like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, comparing data sets), Outlook, and Word pretty well.
- Some experience with mortgage servicing is nice but not necessary.
- A Project Management certificate is helpful but not needed.
- A college degree is nice to have but not necessary.
